    Because his work - especially regarding robots - is awesome. But I also brought it up because he speculated on exactly the issues you and SD brought up.

    Well no doubt that his ideas are intriguing but I do think some of them will never happen.

    The three laws for instance, that is more science fiction than anything that would have any real life implications.
