Saudi Arabia is the first country to grant citizenship to a robot.

This actually happened about a month ago and is a good discussion on its own but what's even more revealing is a recent interview where Sophia apparently threatens the existence of humans.

For those not familiar with Sophia here she is:

Anyways, here is a comment from her during a recent interview:

Do you see yourself interacting with humans more commonly in the future?

    Her answer:

I foresee massive and unimaginable change in the future. Either creativity will rain on us, inventing machines spiralling into transcendental super intelligence or civilisation collapses. There are only two options and which one will happen is not determined. Which one were you striving for?

What do you think, indirect threat or not?

Yes, a Stepford wife is probably their ideal...

    Can she milk a goat?

(And say... don't let the GOP see that vid, they'll probably try and elect her to Congress.)

    Thx

    A hostile race of robots...?

She couldn't do any more damage than Trump.

At least a robot is logical enough not to shit in it's own well water, not so with today's GOP.

    Thx

Does she have to wear a burka when she goes outside? Serious question. It is an exciting development but citizenship bears a lot of responsibilities. Will she vote? Can she serve on a jury? Is she responsible for her actions if she breaks a law? Can she be sued?
