    Bad idea.

    Hold your ground -- when they come close to give you a "BUMP" calmly push or punch them away with your hand.

    The only time that you should just leave is if a shark is making an exaggerated "back and forth" motion. That's a warning to leave.

    Uhhh, yeah. Right.

    Sounds like advice that a shark would give.

    If you have time, watch this one. It's about an hour long but it's quite fascinating to think that there is actually a GW shark this big.

    Nope, that's actually the advice you are given when you dive with sharks.

    Here are some pointers for the beach;

    1 Don't swim with your dog.

    2 Don't swim alone.

    3 Do not wear a necklace or bracelet, especially a shiny metal one.

    4 Avoid hanging off of a raft or inner-tube.

    5 Avoid swimming while menstruating or in your case "manstruating."

    Bull sharks' livers allow them to breath both fresh and salt water. It allows them to hunt up rivers and they birth their young in mangroves away from the ocean predators.

    A great white. 5 victims.
    Maybe. Most experts think it was a bull shark because some of the attacks occurred upstream in a river. But theoretically, the saline levels in the river could have gone high enough to support a great white.
