    Are We Designed to Age?

Did we evolve aging as part of our design because it performs some needed function? This site http://www.azinet.com/aging provides numerous arguments that aging is necessary to the process of evolution, especially to the evolution of certain traits such as intelligence.

    What do you think?

If we are designed to age would that have implications for medical research?

the concept of time is how it is. no one made it, no one can change it. maybe how we measure it, but thats about it. now, considering this, we know that things happen over time. this is how we are able to interact with our environments. because if there was no time, we would not need to be here, and existance in and of itself is not possible.

that being said, no, we were not designed to age, per sè, but more like, going with the flow of things, where we do not have control. we cant stop aging. if we did cease to age, we would die. our molecules would not be able to move around, thus providing the necessary heat and electrical charges for our bodies to function.
