I would, it doesn't bother me at all. I would be there to show my support.

No, I would not. It goes against my religious beliefs I would not go watch the sin and perversion of a covenant with God.

If I knew one or both of the spouses, sure, why not?

I've been to dozens of weddings. Not once was my reason for going 'to show my support'

But otherwise - I'd go to a wedding, yes.

It goes against my beliefs also but as Christians we are supposed to lead by example showing love, forgiveness, and charity. We all sin and until the day God puts a halo on my head I have no right to judge anyone. For all I know, God put these two people together for a reason.

I am only against gay marriage for political reasons and that's it. I would wish any gay couple the happiness any heterosexual couple has. I also expect them to suffer as much as we heterosexuals do in marriage lol.

Still, I would be go and be happy for them. I will do my fighting in the voting booth but not on their wedding day.

Done it. It was okay. Good food, good music, lots of fun for everyone overall. Like most weddings, basically.

So, you'd eat their food, drink their booze, and, meanwhile, be fighting to deprive them of their rights, behind their back?

You are a special kind of piece of work, man...

Food and cake is the only reason to go to any wedding.

Certainly. Went to a wake for a man who had part of a gay Civil Union for many years. It was one of the most spiritual, moving and powerful church services I have ever seen. I have also performed with gay men (Godspell) in churches and seen God's spirit move.

I recommend gay celebrations, weddings, wakes and funerals to any practicing Christian to expand their horizons on what love means.

You are implying inherent rights which there are none, they are given by societies.

Homosexuality and gay marriage are two different things. As a citizen I have to agree with abortion because it is the law but that doesn't mean I can't vote to change it.

One is natural and the other is political.
