One of my bosses put the moves on me one time (while I was living with my husband before we were married and my boss was well aware of this) and I had to fend him off without losing my job.

This shit isn't funny or anything not to take seriously. It sucks. And while it may occasionally happen to males, it rarely has the consequences or affects them in the same way. It's not funny or something to make light of.

    Sorry to ruin the mood.

On second thought, I'm not sorry. This simply isn't something to make fun of and I'm shocked that any woman would.
I have lots of stories but my favorite one was the man telling me during my activist feminist days, "you're too pretty to be a feminist"
I think I mentioned this.. I was meeting my husband in front of his office. He was waiting for me and he had a realization " he watched me walk near construction workers who were hooting at me and making sexist comments. My husband noticed how my entire demeanor changed and he became aware that he walked past those men every single day and never had to give it a moment's thought. Sadly now I do the hooting. I wonder how many would feel if a bunch of men started tuning at them and commenting on their asses

    I was catcalled today

A year or two ago, a supermarket cashier made a pass at me. After two weeks of gloating about it, my wife told me to please finally shut up.

Screw that... some day in the future, I'll be telling the story* to my grandkids.

    * That's really the whole story. Didn't say it was an exciting one.

    Wow. Cool story.

It has nothing to do with catcalls, though.

You certainly are trying to ruin everybody's mood, but you won't because we are not talking about the work place harassment that you experienced.

While it "occasionally" happens to males??? You are demonstrating extreme bias and willful ignorance. Lighten up, already.

Hold on. This is not the Humor section.

Let me give you a funny catcalling story. When my wife and her work girlfriends would walk to a nearby restaurant, there were guys working at parking lot that used to tell them what the wanted to do to their asses.

Some days he was in a flirty mood just commenting on their clothing and how good it looked on them...then some days he in a extra good mood he would tell them where he wanted to stick his tongue.

I guess I should have told her to lighten up and not kill his buzz.
