Look at my screen name. Why don't you answer my question? I'm guessing that the answer is both.

Well it's not like you've been complimenting women for years anyway.

Its so bad that even looking at a woman could get you tagged as a sexual harasser.

You no longer can say that "that dress looks good on you", or "your eyes are beautiful" because a woman may very well take it the wrong way and drag you into court now.

You even need to stop complimenting your wife because, god forbid you get divorced, she may claim that you mentally abused her for years with your sexual harassment.

Hugging your daughter or letting her sit on your lap at a ball game, depending on her age, instantly makes you either a pervert or a pedophile, or both so you definitely want to avoid that.

And if you want to find yourself sitting in HR very quickly just try doing this to a woman you like at work.

There is a spot in the unemployment line for you tomorrow.

Until this irrationality passes we men have to watch our backs.

There are of course many legitimate cases of wrong doing out there but it is now spilling over into mainstream culture and its become all the rage to be a victim of this which is sad because it takes away from the women who actually are suffering through this.
Well, you make it sound like some kind of injustice that's being unfairly leveled.

The numerous cases that are coming forth are for a little more than delivering a compliment... exposure, going up skirts, expecting sexual favors as part of the job...

(Fucking door lock button on your desk, who is this guy, Dr. No?)

If a man doesn't participate in those activities I believe they are pretty safe.

    Thx

    Oh Thank Jesus!

About time you got it through your head that women at work are not there for you.

Women can give a shit what you think about their dress or their hair or their smile.

you finally got it. Men should shut the fuck up and do their damn job.

I used to compliment the ladies at work on their work...

A few good words in that direction can make someone's day and maybe make the difference in their tenure at the company.

Everyone likes to feel they are appreciated.

    Thx

I guess the company I worked at in California was kind of a situation.

Of about 240 employees, more than 90% were women, everyone on the production line, not one man was on those lines.

The supervisors on the line were ladies and they got to where they just wouldn't hire a man.

I always thought that was a bit discriminatory, but they said they had tried in the past and the work is just too tedious and men just don't have that kind of patience.

Also... eventually if they hired a man on the line, he's going to be the only man among a couple hundred women, he might feel a bit on the "Georgey-Porgy" side.

Those ladies were great, I would always make sure that the good ones were recognized, and it made for a a pleasant work environment, I'd go into the inspection department in the morning and the whole crew would look up and wish me good morning.

"Gooood morning ladies, good morning to you...."

Also, with all those ladies... any time we had a company party there would be no shortage of good food!

    Thx

I also have been a supervisor of both men and women and did praise ...Job well done to teams and individual team members...regardless of gender.

I never praised only the women over the men.

I took great pride in my ethics and my treatment of my teams.

It's all in approach, and your looks.
It's true. One woman's harrasser is the unwanted approacher
