Have we seen this plane in any action yet?

All I hear about are the F-22's.

No I haven't. I don't know if all the bugs are worked out of it yet. Much of it is still being upgraded. Software has been a nightmare.

The military industrial complex. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTF_a1DuIyE The jet that ate the Pentagon. This is several years old. Rather scathing report.

Saw a pic in yesterdays local paper of an F-35B at the Singapore Air Show.

Don't know if it put on aerial performance or not.

The USMC "HARRIER REPLACEMENT" was KEY to the whole deal. It WOULD be too much $$ to just do the USMC version alone.. so...the concept was to ALSO do Stealthy replacements for F-18, F16. My Guess is the F35 WILL be great... when they work out some details. We saw similar bugs in other weapon systems that DID end up quite good.
