WWII and Vietnam. Australian and New Zealand armed forces are first rate.

Because they are supported by the US.

And they support the United States. It's called an alliance.

The French lost Indochina even with United States military support.

They get them as bullet fodder while they go and win the war.

    Still waiting. (Yawn)

The sad fact is that, once again, you suggested something that just isn't true yet you expect people to take what you say at face value. People don't.

    What an offensive post.

    Racist, even.

BTW, I was so ill-informed, I thought the US fought the Korean War alone, apart from South Koreans, until not long ago.

Turns out, 1950's movies are not always historically accurate. Who could have guessed?

    Lol.

We had Canada, Austtralia and 19 other nations fighting alongside US soliders. Absolutely gruesome fighting, too.

Do you realize the sacrifices that Canada has made in two World Wars and Korea?

WWI: 61 thousand Canadians killed, 172 thousand wounded in trench warfare. Horrendous!.

WWII (D-Day alone): Juno Beach: The Third Canadian Infantry suffered 340 killed, 574 wounded and 47 taken as POWs. Then there was Canada's support during the Battle of Britain. More than 100 Canadians are deemed to have participated in the Battle of Britain, and 23 lost their lives.

    Korea: 516 Canadian volunteers killed.

Let's also not forget Canada's current contributions to the world, including the United States. Canada patrols a huge fishery and its excellent Coast Guard and para-rescue force stand ready to assist from the Arctic to the Great Lakes. Canada's Coast Guard works closely with the US Coast Guard. Then there was Hurricaine Katrina. Canada sent civilian SAR teams, RC Navy, Canadian Coast Guard and medical assets to the ravaged Gulf Coast to help us. And Canada took over the US Coast Guard's NE Atlantic duties as our Coast Guard air assets from that area had been deployed to the Gulf Coast. They didn't have to. But God bless them, they did and without hesitation.

Canada is a strong country and a true friend to its allies and the United States. Tread lightly if you're going to make foolish comments about Canada. You have no idea what you're talking about Spooky.

    Cheers,

    Bourne
