    B-52s over N. Korea

Think that whack job Kim Jung Fuckwad could counter a continuous wave of B-52s dropping conventional munitions on that shit box country of his? Backed up by B1-Bs. His Air Force is a load of scrap Migs piloted by third raters. I hope that they enjoy suicide because the United States Air Force and the United States Navy will wipe them out of the skies within 24 hours of the beginning of hostilities. And the B-52s and B1-Bs will wreck that shithole called N. Korea in short order. Ponyang will be a cinder.

And Putin would do well to stay away or we'll tear him a new asshole. Russia ain't no big deal. The USAF will destroy those clowns he calls pilots. F-35s will rule the skies over N. Korea. Russian aircraft would do well to stay in their revetments. Or come up and die. Their choice. A lot of dead Boris's. And we'll make Putin look like the dimwit Slavic asshole that he is.

And ground forces? Well we''ll hook up with those tough motherfuckers in the ROK armed forces, ROK and roll, and Kim's little girls better get ready to die in big batches. Our tanks and artillery will waste N. Korea in short order.

My only fear is that we harm civilians. There are so many civilians in N. Korea that deserve being given a peaceful life.

Hey Kimmee. Fire a missile at us or our allies and you're done, you fucking goofball.

    Cheers,

    Bourne

B-52's aren't known for missing civilians, that is kind of their purpose in a way.

To create complete destruction of everything.

But yes, NK wouldn't last long. If Russia or China want to throw up fighters against us it would be far more difficult, especially Russia but I doubt they would. The big problem is NK storming the border if we start that air war, there is nothing that will stop them in the short term. In order to kick them out would require a huge military build-up and we aren't going to bomb SK.

Now look, boys. I ain’t much of a hand at makin’ speeches. But I got a pretty fair idea that somethin’ doggone important is goin’ on back there. And I got a fair idea of the kind of personal emotions that some of you fellas may be thinkin’.

Heck, I reckon you wouldn’t even be human beins if you didn’t have some pretty strong personal feelings about nuclear combat. I want you to remember one thing: the folks back home is a-countin’ on ya, and by golly, we ain’t about to let ’em down.

Tell ya somethin’ else. If this thing turns out to be half as important as I figure it just might be, I’d say that you’re all in line for some important promotions an’ personal citations when this thing’s over with. That goes for every last one of ya, regardless of your race, color, or your creed. Now, let’s get this thing on the hump. We got some flyin’ to do.

FWIW.... N Korea has some Mig 29's, but more relevant in this context, they have a lot of SAMS. At least at first our Air Strikes would lean a lot on Stealth + Cruise missiles. Seoul is NOT FAR from the DMZ, less that a commute from San Jose to San Francisco. A BIG concern is the NK's have SP artillery and dug caves they can duck into. Ballistic Radar.....which the US and ROK have... can track incoming shells and We have HARM missiles that home in on enemy Radar ( SAM sites) . As important,we have satelittes. NK can't move 100,000.....500,000, men, vehicles to the border unseen. We KNOW the chokepoints,we KNOW where their assets are, where leadership/command and control will be,we can target their SUPPLIES, and NK will be pretty short on fuel and food.

The DMZ includes a lot more that what troops are near. It is loaded with minefields. The First Wave...of NK's would be decimated. Likely.... units they see as "expendable". Once IN South Korea... NK Armour llooks like pretty much the stuff Saddam had in Kuwait. How'd that go? We don't have as many Abrams tanks on hand and You can't fly those monsters efficiently. However S Korean K2 tanks are quite good. In THEORY some allies help, it's a continuation of a UN war, but While the Brits, for instance, could fly in battalion or two....to bring in HEAVY gear by air is harder. Canada or Austrailia may be able to move stuff by ship.

Every time the USAF brass thinks they killed off the Warthogs.. they do some great stuff in whatever war. Now... they say the F-35 can replace the A-10. NO WAY. A Warthog is the biggest scariest machine gun EVER with a very tough agile jet plane built around it. An F 35 can not loiter at low + slow to really back the ground troops. At 1000 ft in daylight.... being stealth is no plus if 23 mm guns can shoot you. We KNOW.... the Iraqi's had one effective defense vs Warthogs. Park the damn tank and run like hell.

Kim Bung Dung and his crew KNOW that they can MILK the perpetual facade and paranoia but....in a REAL WAR... they are prime targets. Those ELITES are living well in a nation that's mostly a mess.

There was a bit of fuss when Trump blurted that We DO have misslie subs near N Korea. OMG.. like.. that's not OBVIOUS? Trump did not say EXACTLY where and...so... it was not even NEWS. N Korea has older Russian diesel subs but.. our Attack subs can hunt and kill them. We're GOOD at hunting subs.

We KNOW NK's main target is Seoul. At considerable cost they may reach the N Suburbs BUT... the Han river is rather broad
The NK's have some BMP's that swim (slow) and a lot of stuff that can not swim at all. Obviously....if needed the ROKS will blow most bridges. The Center ....also has lakes and rivers but some open ground where ROK and USA tanks would do well. In the East.. mountains. Mountains favor the defense and anyone who knows the area. Plus.. we can fly in a battallion or two of the 10th Mountain division.

N Korea, the Kim dynasty... is like Hamas. They SUCK at governing but rely on a state of paranoia, endless sabre rattling.
After 60+ yr of noise,BS,threats.....do they REALLY want to have a big showdown? I doubt it. I doubt Russia or China see them as so useful that either is very committed.

Whatever.......It remains unlikely B52's are a real factor. By the time We'd be using B52's.. its END GAME and the NK's are already quite screwed.

Watch the movie. It's Chill Wills the B 52 pilot who rides a nuke down waving his cowboy hat. Classic scene.

From everything I've read the DMZ would be a mere speed bump for them. They also have one of the best special forces units in the world so I would expect something like a Tet Offensive before any attack.

I don't think our B-52s will play that significant of a role.
