You just don't 'SEE' that Kim Jong Un and North Korea have gleefully jumped over EVERY red line that President Trump has drawn in the sand. They are making him look like a FOOL. He IS a fool.

    1. South Korea joins with the US (which really was a given.
    2. UN Sanctions North Korea
    3. China Joins in sanctions and says they will not offer support to N. Korea if N. Korea brings about a conflict
    4. Now a coalition is forming against N. Korea Japan, Australia, S. Korea

Thanks Trump for proving you are a WORLD LEADER no a Terrorist enabler like Obama.
He's not though. He's a world class tantrum thrower with the might of the US military behind him. That's not leading the world... if anything the world is terrorized by it. Trump has not done anything to bring Australia on board... they have a treaty with us. That's it.

If the "art of the deal" really was worth the paper it was written on, why isn't Trump talking to the Democrats to reform healthcare? He only needs a few more votes. Why isn't Mexico building a wall right now? What has his amazing negotiating talents actually accomplished?
    Thanks from BigLeRoy

Hardly matters. It's PH. Very few of the people claiming to be Australian or Canadian on here actually are.

Yeah, I get that. I just find it remarkable that so many Americans seem to think that America don't need no allies at ALL. Buncha stupid Goobers who think that way.

I think Spooky might be on to something. Maybe Canada can consult with him, so he can help you all man up a bit.

    Your understanding.

Whether they support us or not it doesn't really matter does it?
Why does America always expect Australia's co-operation? Why Australian boys die for American foreign policy?

Do we need their nukes or their fleets of ships or something?
Australia offers tech support, training and the SAS.

    Its a meaningless gesture.
Allies are never meaningless. Some posts are, but not allies.

They just want our protection in case Japan bombs them again or china or whoever.
Where were Americans in the East Timor campaign? Unlike America, Australia tends to not make enemies. Your ignorance is profound and just supports my view that you have no PhD in political science.

They don't make enemies because they rely on the US to do all the dirty work while they sit back.

Once its obvious we are going to win a war they send in some troops.

No blame on the people for that, just their politicians.

Hell, we had to send marines there because they couldn't handle one little city being bombed by Japan by like one plane I think.

    Another lie.

They are all the same everywhere.

    Another lie.

Try not to lie in future, it does you no service.

Darwin was a major defensive position for the Australians.

They had built airfields all around it.

When the Japanese attacked with over 200 planes they didn't manage to fire a single shot back.

When it was over there was a mass desertion rate among the Australian air force who were to afraid to go confront them.

That's when our marines were sent over.

    Go Australia!
