    Let's say the Americans never entered the war and Britain sued for peace. In that scenario, it seems likely the Soviets would have taken most of Europe.

    I speculate that the American entry into the war and invasion of Nazi Europe simply kept a large portion of Western Europe free of Soviet domination.

    The Soviets would likely have copped it. There's a reason they were demanding the second front, with Stalin eventually sounding a little desperate: "Great Britain could without any risk land 25-30 Divisions or transport them across Iran to the southern regions of the U.S.S.R"
