You don't seem to think at all.
11 carriers might be overkill in a single fight but they usually are not going to fight all together.

They are usually spread out around the world, that's why we need so many.

We need about 10 more in my opinion.

We should be making drone carriers also.

They might stop when there is nothing to defend. Everyone will be dead from an inability to afford basic needs like heath care and all that other superfluous rubbish.

No where did I claim they would. *shrug*
Carriers move, you can move them to where they are needed.
Maybe we should not try to police the entire fucking world.

and yet we hear of how the military has been depleted under Democratic rule....

How many aircraft carriers do we need, when China has two and Russia is about to have none at all?

Just wondering, just like I wonder whether we really need to spend so much on the military. What do you think?
i think we need to just focus on our land. lets beef up our security. no need for us to be out in the middle east anymore (god bless our troops). lets stop crusin by north korea and start focusing on ourselves. imo the government should focus more on neighborhood watch programs.

Do we NEED them to protect our own country? I'd say no, we don't need that many.
    And they are sitting ducks.

No wonder we can't afford universal health care here.

You missed where Hollywood said Long-range bombers. We are closing bases..we would not need more bases to house more bombers.

Having bases all over the world...we need less need for Battleships and carriers. Before WW2 we needed to take the firepower to the enemy.

Now any target can be reached by a cruise missiles fired hundreds of miles from the target.

Yeah we even nearly went extinct more than once with multiple plagues but I don't expect a pseudo PHD to know anything about history.

I'd love to let Spooky live like they did even a couple of centuries ago. I'm think he'd realize how stupid is comment was.
