    Rest in peace j.f.k.

Hard to believe that it's been 53 years since that awful day in Dallas when we lost our President.

What do you think the world would look like today if we had not lost JFK?
    Thanks from Wonderer and cable2

Obviously JFK would have been remembered very differently.

So there are at least two directions to consider this from -- different ways geopolitical events might have gone with five more years of Kennedy at the helm and the impact of the legend of JFK on the Democratic party and others who were inspired by him.

Read Stephen King's book 11/22/63 for his interesting take on that question.......

My brother would be born 24 years later. That's always been a topic of discussion on his his birthday.

We might have one less wall in Washington, D.C.

“If by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people-their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties-someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal", then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.”
    JFK

Not to be confused with any fringe right wing philosophy now extant.
