150 years ago 4 colonies, two of them already named Canada, lined up nicely and united together as one country, under another country's flag, primarily for defense against rabid Irish American gun nuts on rampages, and created a Federation which they mistakenly called. Confederation, which is THIS nation I call home.

Most expenses will be spared to quietly commemorate this So how do you, dear foreign barbarians, plan to celebrate the Sesquicentennial?

There's no wrong answer. Or language. Or sexual orientation.

I will be slow roasting a beaver over a fire bit burning pure bitumin.

Are Septuagenarians allowed to participate in the Sesquicentennial?

Why's Canada so much younger than America? What were you, all those years before you chose to get organized?

    British colonies?

    How does one play Sesquicentennial?

I mean, it's from Canada, so it's probably a lot like hockey. Played on ice because there's no usable land and features jerseys with unpronounceable names on the back, but other than that can I get an explanation? Ball or puck? Stick or racket?

Well.... yes... actually... but you make it sound so dirty.

The East was various colonies that did not rebel. The entire west was essentially the property of two rival corporations, The Northwest Company, and The Hudsons Bay Company which was the world's first corporation, and thus it's still the world's oldest as it still exists as a major department store.

    So now you know.

And knowing is half the battle.
