    More accurate world map coming

    Pretty interesting article. I never thought about the common world map being inaccurate.

    It is not a question of science, except insofar as technology, used to accurately portray a round world in two dimensions, improves.

    True. It's a wonder they got it as right as they did hundreds of years ago.

    It gives you three countries, the USA, China and India... you can take one of the three and slide them around and see just how distorted the Mercator projection is.

    Russia is only about a third as large as it appears on the map.
