Not sure. Supposedly, the worst of it was over last year. That's what Putin said on Russian TV anyway lol But he says many things...

This is interesting. There is information that Sergey Mironov, head of "Just Russia" (or "Fair Russia", another translation of the name), Sergey Mironov, does not want to run in the Presidential Election in 2018, and the party may instead field first ever female candidate in modern Russian history (they did have female Romanov Empresses before lol).

It will be either Vice-Speaker of the Duma, Olga Epifanova

Or former actress and now, in old age, Duma member, Yelena Drapeko

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yelena_Drapeko

    https://russian.rt.com/russia/news/3...schina-rossiya

Very interesting. RT itself hints that this is a ploy by Putin to increase turn out in 2018, by including new and unusual candidates, to make the Election more interesting and exciting. The government was embarrassed by the very low turn out in the Duma Election last year. It threatens their legitimacy.

So, Putin will still win, Election will still be rigged, probably. But, at least, there will be a woman in the race, first time ever

Frankly, as for me, the Russians, Ukranians, Crimeans and the lot of the former Soviet Union can kill themselves off. And the world will be a better place for it.

    Slavic genetic defects the lot.

If you say so. Current day Russia would do much better under German control.
