Yea he may have an inflated ego and personal flaws, what matters to me is getting objectives done. That is what I will judge.

Honestly don't see how it could have been worse. Clinton has experiece in politics. Trump doesn't have a clue.

The only thing I won't miss are the constant unfounded attacks on her and her foundation.
Hillary had objectives counter to mine. Don't give a damn about her political experience and smooth talk.

His ultimate ranking will be affected in part by his historicity as our first black president -- breaking that barrier will always and with justification be counted as an accomplishment.

And it will be affected in part by how sturdy the ACA turns out to be -- whether it manages to stay in place in spite of GOP attempts to remove it, and/or whether it moves us in the direction of single payer.

And it will be affected in part by how quickly the Democratic party recovers from the decimation it suffered under Obama's leadership.

We came out of his Presidency the strongest, most prosperous and greatest nation on the planet, whine about him all you want, his place in the very top tier of American Presidents is assured for all time.

We've got MILLIONS of Joe Sixpacks in America, pontificating from their bar-stools down at the local corner tavern, who ranked Barack Obama as the WORST President, of all time, both past and future, on the day before he took office.

Yep - same credibility issue. Obama's only accomplishment was unseating Carter as the worst President in my lifetime.
Gee. The professional historians disagree with you. Just possibly, that's because they know what they are talking about, and you don't. That would be my guess.

In Trump's New America, we need to PURGE those historians from academia. Surely there's some re-education camp out West somewhere, that we could send them to.
