I think everyone is overlooking the new arctic brigades Russia has, or whatever they are called.

They aren't training for fighting in the ME.

Jesus. I fucking hope not. Our empire-building has been a disaster in the past.

Whats a bit funny is that many complained about them stopping it because the military wasnt really accepting everyone and many wanted to go....they claim it was a bit of fun and not bad money, but with the way things are going now in the world, they may not find it so fun anymore and the traveling to exotic places may turn out to be the wrong kind of exotic....

Whatever goals Putin has, they do not involve or affect any country outside ex-USSR. That's for sure.
Which is why Putin's submarines are creeping around in Swedish fiords and his military planes are scouting over Southern Sweden?

    It's a TV show.

I know he sent planes to intrude into EU airspace. But this is just silly. Come on, some mini submarine in Swedish waters? Give me a break... Russia doesn't even have such subs anymore. USSR did, but those went to rust long ago, and nothing new was developed, that I am aware of. And I follow military developments there very closely, btw.
    Thanks from Madeline

Russia could over run the biggest army Sweden could ever field without raising a sweat. Bigger Swedish army might be useful for some of those riotous immigrant cities they have though.
