We have been told we should be unhappy (something I have always thought was odd and a neo republican thing as reason to vote for them, in spite of reality), by the current President and his supporters, from the start of Great Recession and throughout Trump's entire campaign, even though the economy was getting better.

    Written last summer:

"Why Americans Are So Angry Despite America’s Strong Economy"

    https://hbr.org/2016/08/why-american...strong-economy
before the recession when bush was president.

Someone made by the way a fake news here in Germany and said we are on place 2 - what will be a disaster for Germany because the other nations had learned from us never to be satisfied. Now we will lose ... blablabla and everything ... He described the future of Germany in the darkest colors, because we are now happy idiots and everything will go wrong. ... When I heard we are indeed "only" on place 16, I was very very happy about the good place 16 and we are so lucky not to have to be on the bad place 2.

Gee, do you think a GREAT RECESSION that began WHILE Bush was in office and ENDED with Obama, pissed people off a little?

Why do you ignore all the rest said and shown? Why? Because it does not fit with yours and Trump's narrative, that we should all have been unhappy and Trump is here to "save the day".

So far, he's failing miserably to demonstrate any of the following. If he had said, "nobody is a bigger bullshitter than me", then we could believe him and his "success" at that.

I still don't understand how people in countries like Sweden can be so happy when Muslim refugees and immigrants have been on a crime spree according to many right wingers.

Not surprising that the US is so low after 8 years of the previous president!

    Speaking of Socialist hellholes...

What is the ranking of the Socialist Utopia of Venezuela where they are eating their pets because they are out of food?

    i try to ignore bullshit.

the US went 13 to 14 in the ranking.

maybe you were looking for a huge fall as a means to support your anti-trump rhetoric. you must be so disappointed.
