    Putin granting kids wishes

It's another thing he does around every New Year holidays: bunch of kids around the country (who had earlier written letters to the special Kremlin website and asked for stuff) get presents from him.

This year, 8th grader Alina Bobok, from Bryansk region, got a Labrador puppy she'd requested, delivered personally by the mayor of her town, Klintsy, Oleg Shkuratov

Meanwhile, Anastasia Piskun, a Grade 6 music student from St. Petersburg, received a new guitar she'd similarly asked for

while 14 year old Polina Krivey, from republic of Udmurtia, received the electric piano she'd long dreamt of

And those are just the first three, so far. More kids will get gifts, before New Year. Putin is a regular Santa... Or, Ded Moroz/Grandpa Frost, over there lol

That Putin! When he is not invading other countries, helping to commit war crimes, or violating basic human rights he really is a swell ****.

Wonder if the Lab puppy was the one I saw presented to Putin a couple of weeks ago?

At least Putin is giving. Many of our kids will have their Health care taken away from them, thanks to the Republican Congress and Trump!

    Bah,humbug!

My father brought home a poster from Italy after WWII, it was a poster of a German soldier helping an old woman who had fallen in the street, the caption (in Italian) was "Remember, the German soldier is your friend", someone had crossed that out and wrote "Yes, but why did you knock her down in the first place?"

That was my introduction to autocracy,,, at the tender age of five....
