We do not see this problem in the US at all with our immigrants from the ME. We have imported thousands over the last decade. We have a good resettlement program where they are introduced into the culture by the cities they are resettled. From what I can see, Germany lost control of how many were entering the Country and it seems like they just threw money at them and put them together in lower income areas. What do you expect when that happens? Canada probably has the same types of programs and never see the problems like in Europe. I imagine it is culture shock for many of the refugees...since they came from the most atrocious conditions that we can only imagine. I bet some of the men had never seen a blond woman before, or saw a woman's legs before. A Country who accepts refugees must have a plan for them, it is unreasonable for us to expect them to just know the culture and how to behave.

    My university had safe zones.

@The Man, sky train stations downtown Vancouver have safe zones too.

It’s basically, if you put security cameras and guards all over a party or campus or station it feels like a prison camp. So you make a zone where there are cameras and guards and if someone needs help they go to the zone.

And if someone doesn’t need help they don’t feel like theyre in a police state.
