An awful lot of your countrymen are too!

The British shipped the inbreds out in 1620.

I realise that now - but while we're at it; does not the USA have scones and clotted cream? Like what do you have for Devonshire tea?

And sorry @Madeline, I wasn't having a go at your spelling - I really thought you meant these things -

Scones with cream first are an abomination! Spread the jam, with a blob of cream, the proper Cornish way!
    Thanks from Madeline

    I support this, FWIW.

Suspect most Americans like their coffee and donuts instead..

I quite like coffee and doughnuts - but I am given to understand that doughnuts are amongst the worst things one can eat. They are all carbohydrate, sugar and saturated fats, and may be considered a cholesterol bomb.

Though it may look wicked - the only thing really harmful in a Devonshire tea might be the jam (I often have the scones with only cream).
    Thanks from bajisima and Madeline

@RosieS says Americans cannot buy clotted cream, because it is made from unpasteurized milk.

I was bound to make a spelling mistake in replying to you sooner or later.

I just hope that, with time, we can get past this and rebuild the trust our relationship is based upon.

But I will understand if you need some time to yourself, to heal.
    Thanks from Leo2

Depends what state you are in. Some do allow raw milk products.
