    Oh Yeah!

We have a successful nuclear north korea!

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- North Korea said Monday it has performed its first-ever nuclear weapons test. The country's official Korean Central News Agency said the test was performed successfully and there was no radioactive leakage from the site.
"The nuclear test is a historic event that brought happiness to the our military and people," KCNA said.

They are on a track that will end up with their country a radioactive ash heap.

I'm sure that's what Bush is hoping for since he's bogged down our military in Iraq. But like 'LaughingArab' inferred, North Korea has nothing of interest to Bush and his gang to profit from. **But I'm sure the thought cross their mind to try to think of something!**

Yeah, sure - that's why he's spent tens of billions of dollars on an ABM system to ward off N. Korean ICBMs - because he's not thinking about them.

Yeah, sure, that's why he spent billions of dollars on an ABM system that doesn't account for the decoys dropped by ICBMs. What an idiot. It's like spending billions of dollars to buy a bigger gun that shoots smaller bullets with even worse aim than before. Just gotta laugh at the poser-cowboys that make up this stupid-ass administration.

I think it is sad that people have to resort to name calling to make their point. (idiot, poser, stupid-ass) I think he is Smart, Straight-forward and an Ivy League graduate with a higher grade point average than John Kerry!

Uh, you're ignorant of ABM history. When President Clinton took office, Bush I had in place the beginning efforts for the GPALS ABM system, which included a robust system of sensors to discriminate decoys. Clinton dismantled the program, which if continued would right now be in effect and defending the U.S. This, along with chopping the active army divisions in half and largely ignoring al qaeda is Bubba's legacy. The current system can gradually be expanded in capabilty, but not overnight.

    Re: Oh Yeah!

It still has not been expanded the way you claim. I think you are ignorant of current events. Bush II's obsession with an all too simplistic ABM system is the reason why clues leading up to 9/11 were overlooked by his administration despite Clinton leaving a full report regarding those incoming threats. But I know, I know, now that Bush's "war-on-terrorism" has failed so miserably, we are all to believe somehow it was Clinton's fault to begin with.

Think how long ago the United States developed nuclear weapons, it was eventually going to develop in countries like North Korea eventually. Though it is kind of scary.
