You forgot about the bright side of this. The unemployed in Colorado can buy pot with their food stamps, they're problems will go up in smoke, literally.

If we're insistent upon populating the planet with 100 Trillion people in an age of robotics and AI, we're going to have to get used to a bare basics mediocre life where most people are completely useless.

So instead we give it to the banks where they share it with the multinational corporations, that'll work wonders~Barrack Insane Obama

I believe in supply side (smaller government, less regulation, strong dollar) which did indeed work during both the Reagan and Clinton administrations:

You believe in big government, economic interventionism, and a weakening currency, which is what both FDR and Bush/Obama used to give us decade long economic depressions.

Zero Hedge is as far removed from reality as a website can be on economics.

The trouble is, Clinton was a Keynesian. And Reagan only saw growth after Carter broke the back of Nixon's and Ford's stagflation. Volcker was Morning in America, not Reaganomics.

Failed Keynesian economics, yes. Which is why I read it. They present the economy as it really is, not as you Keynesian lefties pretend that it is.
