That's way too close. If it melts down you'll be glowing in no time. But what the hell, nobody lives forever. I can say you will be missed around here though. :)
You're not that far away. You'll be doing a little glowing yourself.

For our members here that live in the path of Hurricane Florance - STAY SAFE.

And I'm sending only positive thoughts that your homes don't get a direct hit.

Not Americans according to Trump. He didn't even know it was a U.S. territory at first. Called the country of Puerto Rico. Can you believe it?
It's on his list of shit-hole countries. That's why he was throwing paper towels to them. He figgered they would need a lot of paper towels to clean up all the shit.

I was watching that Allstate commercial the other day and the spokesman said there have been 26 once in five-hundred year storms in the last decade. That should tell you something.
It should tell you that we are poking the Earth's climate system with a sharp stick. That's what it should tell you.

It is my understanding that the proper term would be the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Commonwealth status provides a legal and political status above a typical territory but still below a State. Commonwealths are afforded a higher degree of internal autonomy than are typical territories. Congress and the commonwealth together design a political system acceptable to both parties and Congress tends to impose less of its will on them.

Yes, I understand all that. Donald Trump doesn't.

God has no more need to punish America, now that Donald Trump is President. So fear not, this silly hurricane cannot possibly hurt us. Just watch: It will turn aside at the last moment, just like the lions refused to eat Daniel.
If God punishes immorality, that was already here. Some might even say it was legalized before Trump arrived.

I was alluding to the tendency of TV evangelists like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell to say that God was punishing America with hurricanes and terrorist attacks, for allowing such things as gay marriage, evolution being taught in the schools, pornography, or what have you. For not doing enough about the lesbian threat to America, maybe. You were aware that Pat and Jerry both said America had it coming for 9/11, right?

Indeed! Good luck and be safe, yall

If you are in an evac area but not evacuating, make sure you have plenty of potable water and non perishable food (peanutbutter yum!) ..Plan for a bad case scenario of no help for a week. A direct hit will bring down cell towers but an old fashion phone might still work. oh and boardgames.

hey, new smilies! :nerd:
