Also, I never said the 50 Steps would create a "paradise". We live in fallen nature, tainted by Original Sin. Only in Heaven is there perfection. The 50 Steps are, however, vastly preferable to the chaos and immorality of present-day Western hedonism and secularism.
is there no fucking shortcut to heaven in the catholic cult ? Like, getting swallowed by a whale? Sacrifice a goat ? Walk the desert for 40 years ? Nothing ?

The idea that one person telling another what to do is inherently immoral is a preposterous regression to toddler tantrums of "No!" It all depends on what the order being given is. Human beings are fundamentally hierarchical. The dishonest, once they taste the power of uprooting the truth with lies and temptations, will never cease unless we make them.

And bird, I find your comments hilarious for two reasons. I spent my childhood devouring English history. I know all about the Anglican apostasy and also the excesses of Mary I. What is your point? None of them at their worst could hold a candle to the Cheka under Lenin. I'm not sure if you even have the stomach to read about what they did. 20th century atheists and Theosophists (yes, that's essentially what Nazis were, hence the Hindu swastika) committed more human rights violations, even by a very liberal definition of human rights, than all of the Christian governments of 16 centuries combined.

The other reason I find your comments hilarious, in a darkly humorous sort of way, is your assertion that most people today are moral. Seriously? We make into our wealthiest celebrities people like Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, who wore a shirt of the devil doing something I won't even mention to Jesus, and his wife Beyoncé, who spoke of doing something I likewise won't mention to the Holy Bible. No real backlash... The majority of males on the Internet view pornographic material. Women are giving themselves cancer with hormonal birth control and having babies pulled limb from limb, literally, from their wombs, because our society takes such a dim view of motherhood.

And then there is the "LGBTQ" mania, which was ushered in by Dan Savage, who naturally is the very picture of morality, decency and respect. Elle magazine is promoting an 8-year-old "drag queen" as I speak... and worst of all, if anyone objects, he or she is instantly branded a bigot. We aren't just amoral; we have good and evil inverted in our society, so that if there is a devil, and I believe there is, he could imagine nothing "better", from his point of view.

Most fundamental of all, by teaching kids that they are random biomass in a meaningless universe, we give them nothing but anomie. We give couples no reason to wait until Marriage or stay together, and then we have broken homes to boot, so we have miserable kids told that everything is purposelessly decaying into entropy, and then we wonder why we have drugs, gangs, teenage drinking, fornication, STD's and even worse... this is the "morality" of a secularized society. At best it's relativism, but since about the time Obama took office, it has turned into an inversion of right and wrong. I could go into the political and mystical intrigue that has led us to the brink of this abyss, but that's for another thread, as it would take extensive explanation. The bottom line is that what I would call the devil and you would call dangerous mental illness is now in charge of the "progressive" and libertarian elements of our society, and seeps in one way or another into the lives of most people in the modern-day West. I'm not the one promoting a dystopia. If dystopia was what I wanted, I would propose nothing, because we're already in one, the more so because most of us are oblivious of it. I'm not much for recent pop culture, but we really do need to stop taking the blue pill.
holy motherfucking god on a cracker... you are one piece of absurdity... we gonna have fuuuun here

Human beings, in the final analysis, create nothing. If atheism is correct, then we are biomass that is neither created nor destroyed, but simply rots into entropy, and ideas are merely electrochemical impulses in the nervous system, making us just slightly more complex animals. If, on the other hand, the Roman Catholic faith is correct, then God created and creates everything, and we are merely cooperating, if we so choose, with plans already in the Mind of God. Either way, the myth of human creativity is a Gnostic superstition.
I go with the atheists, and support your idea of you being ‚biomass‘... you kinda get what kind im thinking of.

I have a full understanding of spatial and social cause and effect, I have never been in any sort of mental institution, I have never used recreational drugs, abused prescription drugs or even drunk a drop of alcohol in my life, and I live in an urban setting in a Blue State, and though I have nothing against the South, I haven't been there in my adult life. I daresay my hobbies and recreation would surprise most of you as well. Face it: I embrace theocracy as a deliberate act of free will, unimpaired in any way, and I prove I mean what I say by living by my own code. Is that too much to fathom? I deliberately and sanely support theocracy, and live by my own code. For 4,700 or so years of human history, theocracy of one form or another was universal. Then Rousseau's ivory tower and "freedom" struck Revolutionary France and its "liberating" guillotine, the Soviet Union and its Gulags, China and its great famine and one-child policy, the Khmer Rouge and, of course, today's North Korea- all examples of what happens when secularism sets in.

I'm not a conservative, but this illustrates why I usually hang around conservatives. "Progressives" don't care that I would reduce wealth inequality, end reckless Wall Street speculation, permanently end US use of land mines, reduce nuclear arms and end the genocide in Myanmar, not to mention cracking down on human trafficking by ending prostitution and cracking down on predatory male behavior by imprisoning all sex criminals for life. No, simply the fact that I am unabashedly Christian and oppose sins of the flesh is enough to earn me the loathing of those whose real ideology seems to be hedonism with a dash of nihilism.

Also, I would say my grip on reality is a lot stronger than people who cite a book of fiction as proof that the 50 steps would result in a dystopia in the real world.
Feel free to live my your own code.
Just don't ask me to live by YOUR code.
And you're sure as hell not going to force me to.

Please, I was raised Catholic. I can assure you that I was not taught the extreme scary stuff that our latest troll is advocating. Most Catholics I know are not cultish, and live their lives as best as they can, recognizing that the world is indeed full of evil and immorality but who do not need the heavy hand of a theocratic tyrant to stay to the straight and narrow (as well as any imperfect human can). Our newest troll does not represent the vast majority of Catholics, who are not clamoring for a theocratic tyranny the way he is.

If atheism is defined as a lack of belief in God or gods (as opposed to disbelief) then attributions of 'correct' or 'incorrect' do not apply. Contrary to popular misconception, atheism makes no claims, nor promotes a position regarding evolution or cosmology. The atheist may, and probably does possess beliefs regarding these subjects, but said beliefs have no relevance to atheism itself. One's atheism may have been ignited by belief systems built upon the sciences, but atheism as an abstract is nothing more than a lack of belief in a god or gods.
