As your own clippings testify, journalists didn't "repeat Obama" (ADVISING miners to learn to code) they REPORTED on how it played out.

What's wrong with that? You can do it from home on a basic PC with minimal software and your cell phone if you don't have good Internet. And that's what a lot of former miners have done.

Did you happen to catch these reports on how just about every coal miner gets black lung?

An Epidemic Is Killing Thousands Of Coal Miners. Regulators Could Have Stopped It
I agree. So all those laid off reporters can now take their own advice and learn to code.

This is bullshit. What happened was this. A few years ago after a bunch of coal miners lost their jobs, President Obama told them they should learn to code. So the sycophants in the press obediently repeated Obama.

So last week after Buzzfeed and Huffington Post laid off a bunch of reporters, a bunch of smartasses told them they should learn to code. I mean, it's not nice to dunk on people who just lost their jobs but these assholes didn't mind talking down to unemployed coal miners. But since journalists have incredible egos they can't stand being roasted and are acting like they're the most persecuted people on Earth. They went crying to Twitter so now telling a journo to learn to code is considered targeted harassment. This after a week of blue checkmark accounts (including journalists) doxing and posting death threats to the Convington students that Twitter did nothing about. But roast a journalist and you get suspended.
All this time they spend complaining is time that could be spent learning to code.
I must have missed that in the OP, in fact I saw no reference to coding whatsoever, just hanging and death threats, maybe I am just stupid, point out the light hearted jokes about journalists learning to code...

I would go with your gut feeling. ;)

Bad for them at first, good for them in the long run, if the government does its job.

Coal kills miners, it poisons the air everyone else breathes, it damages the planet, it makes a godawful mess and it's increasingly not the cheapest or most readily accessed form of energy available to most communities. Natural gas power plants, backed by renewable energy and perhaps nuclear, are the way of the future ... and we have no other domestic use for the stuff.

The GOP's years-long grievances over the entirely reasonable push to get rid of coal are just getting more grating and nonsensical over time. Let it go, man.

Great. Then laid off reporters should not mind getting some helpful advice of learn to code.
