I like it when you make a thread about someone else but when responded to you cry about the thread not being about you.

You couldn't figure out that I changed one letter in your nickname like you said you did for li'l Beto? It was a joke... If you notice, I didn't actually call you that. Whether one or both of you are members here has nothing to do with it.

You are so slick, can I call you pancho sanza you never answered.

This is bullshit. What happened was this. A few years ago after a bunch of coal miners lost their jobs, President Obama told them they should learn to code. So the sycophants in the press obediently repeated Obama.

So last week after Buzzfeed and Huffington Post laid off a bunch of reporters, a bunch of smartasses told them they should learn to code. I mean, it's not nice to dunk on people who just lost their jobs but these assholes didn't mind talking down to unemployed coal miners. But since journalists have incredible egos they can't stand being roasted and are acting like they're the most persecuted people on Earth. They went crying to Twitter so now telling a journo to learn to code is considered targeted harassment. This after a week of blue checkmark accounts (including journalists) doxing and posting death threats to the Convington students that Twitter did nothing about. But roast a journalist and you get suspended.
All this time they spend complaining is time that could be spent learning to code.
So how does that excuse the death threats?

As your own clippings testify, journalists didn't "repeat Obama" (ADVISING miners to learn to code) they REPORTED on how it played out.

What's wrong with that? You can do it from home on a basic PC with minimal software and your cell phone if you don't have good Internet. And that's what a lot of former miners have done.

Did you happen to catch these reports on how just about every coal miner gets black lung?

An Epidemic Is Killing Thousands Of Coal Miners. Regulators Could Have Stopped It
Thank you for bringing that up. Even if the coal mines open back up again, the veins of coal have become so thin it's necessary to drill through several inches of rock to get to them, exacerbating the problem of lung disease because the silica dust is actually more harmful than the coal dust.

People think the whole "coal miner's daughter" fantasy sounds rugged and folksy but it's really a shitty job that will kill you. You see these old guys hobbling around with their oxygen tanks in tow it's just tragic that anyone would want their kids to follow them into this line of work.

And the taxpayers are on the hook for the cost of the respiratory treatments.
