A new poll by CNN shows a large majority of Americans disagree with positions that many of the Democratic presidential candidates have taken on healthcare.

The poll released Monday found 58% of Americans oppose giving government-backed healthcare to illegal immigrants while 38% say they support giving healthcare to illegal immigrants.

All 10 of the Democratic candidates on the second night of the debate raised their hands to say they supported giving healthcare to illegal immigrants. The debate included Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Kamala Harris, and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

Montana Gov. Steve Bullock was the only candidate running who said publicly that he opposed giving government healthcare to illegal immigrants.

That goes without saying, but dems just seem clueless on the subject.

Lets not forget the CNN Polls in 2018 and 2016 were some of the most biased polls... (Bias is not left Right it means accurate) the bias trended left wing in both. CNN Predicted a Blue Wave... instead of the Blue Dripping sinck

I'm surprised it's only 58%, tbh. CNN poll probably soft-pedalled it.

The position of Democrats on health care for undocumented immigrants has been mischaracterized. At present, they can go to an emergency room if really sick or in need. That's just the way it works in this country. Insuring them might actually be cheaper, but nobody (except maybe Bernie and Liz) are talking about handing out free insurance policies. We simply can't let them die in the street is all.

Well said. Most polls are designed to get a specific answer. And this poll left us with more questions than results.

We've become so "humane", haven't we and oh, so "Christian"......Haven't we?

Bible Gateway passage: Luke 6:31 - New International Version

Matthew 7:12 In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the Prophets.

The Sheep and the Goats
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

Bible Gateway passage: Matthew 25:31-46 - New International Version

Religious teaching or just plain common sense humanity, based on people observing and experiencing life and MORALS of stories, that relate to someone being mean/cruel to someone else, then finding themselves in a pickle and needing some sort of rescue and the only person to come along is the person they were mean to, who being human (not INHUMAE) save the person who was mean/cruel to them, based on their being HUMANE.

What the hell did the parents and religious leaders of Trump and his supporters teach them, when they were young? To be selfish, mean, cruel, greedy, narcissistic and generally inhumane, except to people they like?

Love for Enemies
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[i] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
Bible Gateway passage: Matthew 5 - New International Version

The Nine Satanic Statements
  1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence.
  2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams.
  3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit.
  4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates.
  5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek.
  6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires.
  7. Satan represents man as just another animal who, because of his "divine spiritual and intellectual development", has become the most vicious animal of all.
  8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification.
  9. Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as he has kept it in business all these years.[112]

So if someone needs medical help, we simply step over them or walk on by? Children brought here by their parents are responsible for the actions of their parents and should suffer for their parents coming here, in search of a better life in the nation that brags about itself as the greatest nation on earth?
