If a voting machine is connected to the internet then that would be a major problem/breach.

What States have their voting machines connected to the web...??

I dont think any during voting. However, they do connect to transmit results. So I suppose its possible if hackers know that, they could get in at that moment and change them. Or get in earlier and put in different results.

No computer that is ever connected to a network or an external drive can be considered secure.

True. I also wonder about voting rolls? Quite a few states over the last few years have been putting them online. Now I wonder what happens if they are hacked and someone goes to vote and is told they arent on the list?

In those cases, one's only recourse is to cast a provisional ballot that will likely never be counted.
