She lost her House race in Lexington, one of the more liberal areas of Kentucky..at this point Kentucky may be a lost cause for Democrats, like Tennessee, and Ohio is not looking that great either..

I expect Mitch to retire. He said before the last election he almost did. He never won but by a slim margin. Like Boehner he may realize his time has run out

Does she have a chance?

With a favorable rating @ just 25% one would think McTurtle will be toast in 2020. But it's KY we're talking about.

Favorable rating: 25%
Coal Miners Union has asked Democrats to court members. Plant closed suddenly, no paychecks.

Coal is a losing cause. Ignoring Trump and his mob companies are using clean energy. It is now half the energy field. You can not hold back time.

She is playing it very smart. She knows she is in Trump country. And she is using McConnell's lack of doing anything legislatively in the Senate as the reason Trump isn't getting his agenda. So if she can get the dumber than dirt Trump vote along with a majority of the Democratic vote she has a chance. She raised a hell of a lot of money in her first day. Heard it on the news this morning but don't remember how much just that it was extremely high, kind of like Presidential candidate numbers
