No, but I'm not a single issue voter. Nor are you.
True, but as I noted on the other thread (which you and Crusher agreed on)....Trump is not a conservative on many issues.

In THIS case...it's a good thing.

On another blog, I've asked Religious Righties about Trump's pro-LGBT attitude and, not surprisingly, their responses are-

1. "Hillary would be worse" (a generic response on all of Trump's sell-outs of the Ideological Right)

2. Silence

3. Tacit admission it's true but claims they "never cared about the issue"...which given their past posts is clearly a lie.

I dunno... I thing he fits right in with that hypocritical cabal.
I meant rhetorically.

Policy-wise? Republican Presidents TALK a good game on being "social conservatives"...but they don't really GOVERN that way.

Look at Dubya...in 2004, Bush ran on "defending traditional marriage" and in Swing States, Rove ran the re-election on anti-gay marriage referendums to gin up conservative voters.

Soon as the re-election was over? Dubya comes out in favor of "civil unions".

Thing about Trump is...his own LIFE is a contradiction to the Religious Right.

Gambling tycoon? Three marriages? Two of his wives were former mistresses? His current wife posed in lesbian-oriented nude photos (what the RRs would clearly call "porn"). He BRAGGED about his horn-dogging days around New York and said NOT getting an STD was "my Vietnam". He curses....like on mike and on video. He said he has never "asked God for forgiveness"

Let me go on the record in saying that I am with Trump on this. You can't find any past posts where I have ever been anti-LGBT rights. None. I'm also pro-abortion. But given Trump's position on some of these issues, why do you still hate him so much?

Absolutely correct.

In THIS case...it's a good thing.
On this, we disagree.

Because he panders to racists and is a buffoon who shouldn't go near the nuclear codes. Which is stronger goes back and forth.

BTW, I don't give a shit about the MAN either way.....it's he would do with the office and the power that I hate.

Meh. That assumes that members of the Religious Right actually take their religion seriously. I've seen no evidence to imply that this is the case.
Very little. Look at our local examples...who claim to be "Bible-believing Christians" who regularly violate Scripture on things like name-calling and being humble to all men....offering a hypocrite's excuse of "It's not slander if it's true!"

or their moralizing about issues from homosexuality to abortion...but who support Trump who clearly is a social liberal.

Why? I'm saying on THIS ONE ISSUE....LGBT rights...it's a good thing there is NO anti-LGBT candidate in the field.
I was responding to this:

True, but as I noted on the other thread (which you and Crusher agreed on)....Trump is not a conservative on many issues.

I don't agree it's a good thing that Trump isn't a conservative on many issues.

And as I explained previously (I think on the other thread) I don't agree that being "anti-LGBT" is actually consistent with conservative principles (though I acknowledge that, as many would define "anti-LGBT", it is embraced by many social conservatives.)
