A majority of the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday that Ohio can cut state funding to Planned Parenthood because the organization performs abortions, overturning a lower court ruling that blocked the state from stripping about $1.5 million of annual support from the network of clinics.

The case was one of several across the country addressing attempts to cut public dollars to Planned Parenthood and other providers who offer abortions in addition to a range of health care services. Four of the 11 judges who sided with the state in the decision were appointed by President Donald Trump. The judges said Ohio’s law barring state health department funding from going to any provider who offers “non-therapeutic abortions” or advocates for abortion rights, “does not violate the Constitution because the affiliates do not have a due process right to perform abortions.”

So stupid.

All the money PP gets from the feds goes to things like low cost bc, breast exams, etc.

NO federal money pays for abortions

And rural clinics and hospitals are closing in Ohio. PP is sometimes is the only thing that low-income people can access

Forty-one percent of all rural hospitals in the nation, including 13 Ohio facilities, operate at a loss. Expensive services like obstetrics are among the first to be cut. Already, some women in Ohio must drive more than 100 miles to deliver their babies.

Rural hospitals teeter on edge of closing, cutting services in post-healthcare reform world

This is good. No non-government organization has a right to demand government funding

It's quite racist that they support abortions even knowing that more than half of abortions are minorities.
Just wow.

Only 3% of what PP does is in conjunction with abortions. But of course, you felt the need to play the race card.

Are you implying that black women who get abortions are stupid?

More PP fuzzy math and you believe it. You must be really gullible to believe those lies of the Democrats and PP. PP is also a laundry operation of tax funds to give democrats tax funds back for their election campaigns
