Seems some people missed this November 27 order.

A federal appeals court on Wednesday evening stayed a lower-court ruling that former Trump White House counsel Donald McGahn must comply with a House subpoena after the administration appealed, arguing the battle poses great consequences for the balance of power between the legislative and executive branches.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit granted an administrative stay while it considers a longer-term order, and fast-tracked oral arguments in the case for a hearing Jan. 3.

...

“Only once before in our Nation’s history has an Article III court attempted to compel a close presidential advisor to appear and testify before Congress. In that case . . . this Court not only granted a stay pending appeal but took the unusual step of publishing a precedential opinion granting the stay, explaining that the dispute was ‘of potentially great significance for the balance of power between the Legislative and Executive Branches,’ ” Justice Department civil division appellate attorney Martin Totaro wrote.

So when do you think Nadler will call him to testify and will they bother doing it private first? I think they pretty much have his testimony under oath in the Mueller report. McGahn can't play dumb and forget shit or lie just for Trump's sake in Public. It's going to be interesting butt up against the Ukraine testimony as it will show a pattern of obstruction of justice attempts by Trump.

Uh, no. That is the District Court judge. The administrative stay mentioned in the OP was by the Circuit Court. It says so quite plainly.

The matter has been stayed by the Circuit Court as stated in the OP.

As far as "obstruction of justice", you still are clueless as to what that entails. It sure as hell isn't anything we know President Trump has done.

FURTHER ORDERED that the administrative stay entered by this Court on November 27, 2019 (see Minute Order of Nov. 27, 2019), is LIFTED.

You made bro? The stay has been lifted and McGahn has no choice but to testify.

January 3rd? That means the rotten House Dems are out of luck. They either have to Impeach with what they haven't got ,or get off the pot. They truly suck. They have legislated NOTHING for a year and a half.

DENYING DOJ’s MOTION FOR A STAY PENDING APPEAL

The stay by the Circuit Court was not lifted. You are confusing the stay by the District Court judge with the Circuit Court stay.

The matter is stayed as of now.

It is the DOJ doing the legal work, not McGahn or his attorneys.
