It's about time - actually long overdue. After 2 years of inaction on sanctuary city lunacy, finally the time has come to lower the boom on sanctuary city criminals. Oh, the Democrats want to talk about putting people in jail, do they ? How about putting in federal prison, every Democrat Senator who voted to protect sanctuary cities, 3 years ago, when they voted against the "Stop Sanctuary Policies and Protect Americans Act" ?

See How Your Senators Voted on Sanctuary Cities

And how about also imprisoning every political leader who has engaged in creating sanctuary city/county/state laws establishing sanctuary cities ? Every one of these US traitors has violated US Code 8, Section 1324, by concealing, harboring, or shielding from detection, illegal aliens.

8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens

And who were those scoundrels in the Senate who violated this law ? It is all those (almost every Democrat) who voted NAY (no) against this bill (aka Kate's Law). And here they are >>

One Democrat (Manchin-WV) voted for the bill. He's off the hook. One Republican (Kirk-IL) voted against it. He's on the hook.

Wanna play hard ball, guys ? You got it.

Of course lazy Graham did not even bother to vote.

And extra points for you for having found a roster of our recent US Senate online.

You cannot put a legislator in prison based on how he or she voted on legislation.

You are obsessed with this issue and your hatreds. Get over yourself.
Oh no ? And what about the sanctuary city leaders > Mayors. City councilmen. Governors. They have immunity too ?

PS - if you want to talk about what can or cannot, please state what law makes it so, with a link to it.

As for my "hatred", sure, I have some. One of them is traitor politicians who throw Americans under the bus, to fill up the country with illegal aliens, whom they see as VOTES for them. I hate that kind of abusive selfishness, and you should too.

Same goes with all the other vested interests who support illegal aliens, for their own personal gain, against the interests of the American people.

why would any red-blooded American want their president to jail their political enemies? When did this become acceptable?

The answer is, some time soon after Putin selected his candidate for the office of the presidency.
No, the answer is when those political enemies established themselves as also enemies of the American people, by acting to protect other enemies of the American people, namely illegal alien invader, job stealers, economy raiders.

Actually, yes. There is no legal requirement anywhere forcing someone to take a particular official action. You are making things up to justify punishing political enemies, and are endlessly trolling this site with the same old crap.
PS - if you want to talk about what can or cannot, please state what law makes it so, with a link to it.
You first. The statute you keep citing does not provide the authority you think it does - even more so with respect to Congress, who has the authority to decide to make a law that contradicts an existing law.
As for my "hatred", sure, I have some.
"Some"? You are fucking loaded with it, and it drives nearly all your posts.

we don't jail our political enemies in the name of "the American people". That's ludicrous.
