That's not a response. All that matters with the stock market is how fast it grows or declines over a period of time. That determines how long and how quickly an investor can make money, and how much time they have to pull out (or wait for the bottom and buy more, if they have that luxury).

Trump, despite inheriting a growth economy and employing massive stimulus — not a good idea in growth time in any event — has been unable to match the ROI produced by Obama's similarly early years. As the numbers show, he is barely keeping pace with half of Obama's early-year ROI.

And now it's declining, to the point where you've lost your ass if you invested in January 2018 and stayed in the market the whole time.
It's up for the year, and we have the best economic growth we've seen in over a decade.

DJI is break-even against Jan. 1, and down against mid-January.

After a recovery today, the Nasdaq is barely, barely up against Jan. 1.

The S&P 500 is break-even against Jan. 1 following significant declines.

NOT GOOD considering the job creation and GDP we've seen since 2014.

Other mathematically specific factors trouble is on the horizon

Credit card debt ... insane

Car debt ... are you fucking kidding me, 8, 10 year terms?!?

That big, evil monster, home debt ... still problematic

Overall economic inequality ... damn

Exactly. Trump will squash him like a roach.
Don't really follow the logic here.

Clinton is universally acknowledged as the most personally flawed and scandalized candidate in modern history (well, except Trump).

Despite the rhetoric, Trump barely cleared over her. Set aside the popular vote, his EC victory is nothing to write home about.

What's the GOP got on Beto? A DUI?

Given the midterm results — clear defeats in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Arizona and Nevada — signs are Trump needs another Clinton-esque opponent to survive.

Research he and his family's corrupt history in El Paso.

There aren't any Democrats who can beat Donald Trump, with the possible exception of Joe Biden, but Biden is so old, they will have to prop him up. Hillary had trouble walking up and down stairs. Biden will have trouble walking. Biden is good for a laugh, though.
