The committee's recommendations come after months of intense partisan debate over how to address election security vulnerabilities, with the House passing multiple sweeping election security and reforms bills, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) blocking them in the Senate, citing concerns around federalizing elections.

<<....>>

Schumer also criticized McConnell for "hindering a full response" to election vulnerabilities ahead of the 2020 elections, saying that McConnell "continues to block a full-throated U.S. response today by burying meaningful election security bills in his legislative graveyard."

<<....>>

The Senate report noted that agents of the Russian Internet Research Agency (IRA) “sought to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election by harming Hillary Clinton's chances of success and supporting Donald Trump at the direction of the Kremlin."

Russian social media trolls working to boost the candidacy of now-President Donald Trump celebrated the real estate mogul’s win on election night 2016 with champagne, according to a message disclosed in a new report from the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee.

According to the committee’s report, released Tuesday, an employee of Russia’s Internet Research Agency sent a message indicating that they “uncorked a tiny bottle of champagne” when they found out that Trump had won. “We uttered almost in unison: ‘We made America great.’” The exchange was highlighted by Bloomberg.

It isn't illegal to hire an American company that has a foreign worker. If that was the case you'd have to check the citizenship of everyone that makes signs, hats, banners and whatever else the campaign farms out to get done at rallies and such.

LOL, Trump couldn't even win the popular vote in the US and the opinion of Trump world wide outside of Russia, North Korea and Saudi Arabia couldn't be any lower. Believe it or not Hillary was and is respected in most
countries and they hated her in the three mentioned. I wonder why? Maybe because she wouldn't kiss the ring of the leader and now Trump kiss' their ass or worse has become their pleasure toy.
