So how much?
Some like to argue they get no welfare and pay income taxes. So they are using a fraudulent ID? That is a felony. What about ER visits, education, corrections etc?
The official number of illegals is what? 13 million? I call bollocks, bet the real number is more like 20-30 million.

The cost of illegal immigrants on the U.S. is severe, according to a new report which finds that illegal aliens cost us all $113 billion a year.
The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) recently put out a series of tweets noting how much the states pay to take care of illegals. For instance, here is the tweet laying out the cost to Washington state:

Another recent tweet by actor James Woods contained a list of how much the rest of the states pay. California, for instance, pays nearly 22 billion by itself. And New York spends nine and a half billion while Illinois wastes almost five billion to deal with illegals. The cost for Kansas is $442 million, with Missouri at $338 million.

So, when are we going to stop subsidizing the users of cheap illegal labor and start enforcing the law?

Good question. Fine the snot out of employers, bankrupt and imprison for any subsequent offenses. Make the consequences to severe to even THINK about hiring them. End ALL and any welfare to them. Deport them and BUILD THAT WALL

Problem is, this problem has gone unchecked so long, America is addicted to that cheap labor.

Even lawmakers in Texas don't want the stupid wall

And again, your "estimates" are way off

Not to mention they pay taxes

Pay into SS and Medicare as well

So whose ID are they committing felony fraud with?

You dont like FAIRs numbers? Post some government stats, all I found was a PDF from 94 or 95.
One can claim your source is just as biased.

You'd better not cost money, or expect to be thrown in a cage.

We're already moving in that direction, but it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better, and it won't stop with the undocumented or those who are unable to work. Ultimately it'll probably become a system where you'll have to confirm to a social credit system, a bit like what they have in China, and if you start costing more money than you're worth, you can expect to lose access to more and more services, and finally you'll wind up in one of these camps, which will probably be diversified to hold more than just alleged undocumented people pretty soon.
