Donald Trump has been knocked from his perch atop the GOP presidential primary field by Sen. Ted Cruz, according to a new national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Wednesday evening.

Also in other polls Trump is the only Republican candidate that both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders beat in a national race.

A few conclusions can be had here:

(1) Trump supporters are not following the polls and do not realize that they will likely lose in the General Election.
(2) Trump supporters are not "Conservatives", but are attracted to a Businessman who a uncertain ideological record.
(3) The South Carolina debate may have damaged trump.

His behavior toward Marco Rubio was disgusting. Very unbecoming for someone who wants to be President.

Rubio's childish response wasn't very Presidential either.
There isn't a single adult on the GOP side and they all hope to appoint another radical woman-hating neanderthal to the SC like Scalia was.
Rubio would refuse abortions even to rape victims.

You know we hear a lot about alpha and beta men on these forums. Obama's a girly man because of his blue jeans and bike helmet.

I'm sorry, but why does Ted Cruz get away with having a voice that sound like the biggest pussy you'd have in your high school? His expression is permanently simpering and his gestures are like Ernest Angley.

Is this the new alpha male?

heh-heh...
