Up to 80 percent of criminal illegal aliens who are released by sanctuary jurisdictions across the United States will commit additional crimes and victimize more Americans, federal immigration data reveals.

During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official Timothy Robbins said that anywhere between 40 to 80 percent of criminal illegal aliens who are released by sanctuary jurisdictions go on to commit more crime.

“When aliens walk out the front of the jail that could have been handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for removal proceedings, they have the opportunity to commit additional crimes,” Robbins said. “What we’ve seen, and depending on the report you look at, anywhere from 40 to 80 percent of those who have committed crimes will re-offend.”

“In that regard, what we’re seeing is crimes that could be preventable, the human cost who are being victimized and hurt by criminal aliens that ICE had the ability to remove from this country,” Robbins said.

The data indicates that up to 80 percent of crimes committed be sanctuary-freed illegal aliens could have been prevented if those suspects had been turned over to ICE for arrest and deportation.

Washington Examiner covered the hearing in Congress on Sanctuary Cities 4 days ago and posted the video to their Facebook page.

You can watch the video in the Facebook link above and hear Mr. Robbins discuss the data under Oath about 80% of Illegals released from Sanctuary Cities reoffending at about the 23 minute mark.

If you don't think Sanctuary Cities are a problem in this Country you need to watch at least some of the video of this Congressional hearing.

How odd the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) disagrees

The vast majority of research finds that immigrants do not increase local crime rates and that they are less likely to cause crime and less likely to be incarcerated than their native-born peers.3 There is less research on illegal immigrant criminality, but what research there is shows that illegal immigrants have lower incarceration rates nationwide and in the state of Texas relative to native-born Americans, although they have the same rates of re-arrest in Los Angeles County.4 Consistent with those findings, immigration enforcement programs targeting illegal immigrant criminals have no effect on local crime rates, which indicates that they are about as crime prone as other residents.5

Those stats have nothing to do with Illegal Alien Repeating Offenders being released back on the streets by these Sanctuary cities.

Run along and go derail someone else's thread.

I think it is a reality check when ICE Official Timothy Robbins states at about the 19:00 mintue mark in the video that before California passed SB54 that they were getting 75-100 referrals of Illegals a day from the L.A. Sheriff's Office.

Today the get less than 5 refferals a day.

That's 70-100 Illegals released back on to the streets every day with an 80% recidivism rate.

And, that's just one Sanctuary city in this Country.

Illegal Immigration was one of the biggest issues that drove Trump to victory in 2016 and will be again in 2020.
