On Friday it was revealed that the FBI is investigating Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) for allegedly sleeping with underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic.
Despite this, when Menendez was given a six-minute interview with Martha Raddatz on ABC's This Week Sunday, he was not asked one question about the investigation or the allegations (commentary follows with full transcript at end of post):

Proving, once again, they just don't care what Liberals do. My guess is if they received a video of Barack Obama fucking a chicken, they'ed blame the chicken.

From what I gather, the story was never corroborated. The entire body of evidence is the say-so of two anonymous women of unknown age, from a country where prostitution is legal.

When has that mattered to the liberal media. Look at Romney and Herman Cain how they were lied about by the media.

This shows the liberal media will always avoid the truth and protect liberal democrats. They are not journalists they are democrat political operatives.

Oh I can see it now, boy lover rights movement, and the rights war on pervs.
Perhaps you remember that from the Larry Craig under aged congressional page boinking fiasco.
They kinda overlooked having a war with him..because they knew about it for a long time..until the truth came pouring out.
Only then would they publicly admit the reality of one of their top congressmen.

Actually it appears the FBI has corroborated most of the story.

Documents published online for the first time Thursday indicate that the FBI opened an inquiry into New Jersey Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez on August 1, 2012, focusing on repeated trips he took to the Dominican Republic with longtime campaign contributor and Miami eye doctor Salomon Melgen. TheDC reported in November that Menendez purchased the service of prostitutes in that Caribbean nation at a series of alcohol-fueled sex parties.

At least in the e-mails in this release, the FBI seemed less skeptical. “As far as the information you have provided, we have been able to confirm most of it,” the FBI investigator wrote to the source of the information, a “Peter Williams” that first contacted CREW. The FBI refuses to comment at this stage, which is not atypical for an ongoing investigation, and perhaps for one closed without charges being filed.
Menendez prostitution allegations get a little more strange « Hot Air

The problem here is not necessarily the prostitution, it's the allegation that the girls were under age.

A further problem is that Menendez is required to report foreign trips financed by others, and he did not reports his trips to the Dominican Republic, which were allegedly financed by his doctor friend and longtime campaign contributor.

Carrie Levine, a research director at CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) was first alerted of Menendez's alleged indiscretions abroad last year in April.
Under Senate ethic rules Menendez is to report any travel paid for by a third-party that exceeds $335. His financial disclosures since the 1990's as well as his most recent one from 2011, make no mention of any trip paid for by ophthalmologist Salomon Melgen.
FBI investigating Sen. Menendez for underage sex with prostitutes

One of the women alleged to have slept with Bob Menendez has given hand written testimony of her encounters with the Democratic Senator from New Jersey. The source who spoke to CREW as well as ABC producer, Rhonda Schwartz stated:
"I have in my possession the original (testimony) written in her own hand. She is 19 now, but took part in private parties with Senator Menendez being only 16."

The prostitute in her hand written testimony stated that she was sure that it was Senator Bob Menendez whom she had engaged in sexual relations with, recalling specifically one visit he made to her since it was the month of her 17th birthday. The self described escort is also said to have given an exact description of Salomon Melgen's home in Caso de Campo, a Ponderosa-style seaside resort in the Dominican Republic.
Here's a bit of humor:

If the allegations are true, Bob Menendez still owes the women in the Dominican Republic $800. Both women interviewed stated they agreed to sleep with Senator Menendez for $500 each, however the Senator only paid them $200 altogether.
Wow. First the Secret Service refuses to pay the Colombians, now the Senators think they're going to get a discount in the Dominican Republic.
