it's telling that this commentator is making exactly the same comment as every other Republican. As if he's writing from a script of talking points derived from what every other Republican has said. Nothing new here, just a summary of every Republican comment on the impeachment since it started.

One thing we don't see--a defense of the president's actions.

That's important because that's what the president wants. The president wants the GOP to come out full force in FAVOR of what he did. We've established that seeking help from a foreign power to win an election is unlawful, but no one could establish that the president did this. Now he's admitted to it and he wants the GOP to come out in favor of unlawful activity. That's a real challenge for this fellow party-mates. is that level of fealty a bridge to far? We have yet to see.

It's true. What the hell has your party done since 2018 and all their great promises. Got a clue?

Yep ....

Isn't it ironic how when people are discussing the truth they often come to the same conclusion.

Block and Obstruct every attempt the President has made to make this Country Great and the lives of it's citizens better.

Trump is credibly accused of the most serious offenses ever levied against a president. More serious than Nixon, Reagan or Clinton.

If the Republicans want to "get back to business", they should call for Trump's resignation, bar pardons and turn this mess over to the criminal justice system.

That would also allow Trump to move to exclude evidence, etc.

Resignation would achieve all the GOP's stated, urgently-felt "goals".
