ABC-TV affiliate WRIC reported that police nabbed eight people tied to this melee. While some clearly were white-power extremists, others were anything but. These include Troy Dunigan, 21, of Tennessee. “He was arrested Saturday for throwing objects at ‘Nazi protesters,’ according to court documents.” Beth Foster, director of the Mercy Junction Justice and Peace Center, told NBC-TV’s Chattanooga affiliate WRBC that she knows Dunigan. “He is an anarchist and is part of an Antifa action to confront white supremacy, and that’s why he was in Charlottesville.”

one guy?

Is this one of the "sides" you're referring to?

Oh come on. We could all cherry-pick all day. What is the point of that? Some of them went specifically for the chance to KICK SOME NAZI ASS. Period. Trump is right about one thing: he has access to more information that what the media chooses to doll out to us.

CNN is now showing us who this group really is. A little late. But it's a good article.

is that the same CNN that reported that Antifa protected the clergy against white supremacist? That's what they were there for. You , come on. How is it cherry picking to point out that there was only one guy arrested for attacking white supremacist? How does that one person make up a "side"?

One guy arrested doesn't mean he was all alone. Look, the murder of Heather Heyer, there is not two sides about that. If Trump were articulate, he could have made his point better. But he isn't articulate. He is correct that two sides came to rumble, but he missed the over-reaching point. That they can not be equivocated when one side committed MURDER.

He did it all backwards. If he just HAD to point out the both sides argument, that should have been a slight mention before the huge, absolute, total condemnation of White Supremacists of any kind. Whatever they are all calling themselves, even more so than any other President would need to, because they look up to him and he needed to reject them.

I have no way of doing that. I agree with the people saying that a normal, good person, who maybe went to protest the statue being taken down and nothing else would LEAVE when they find themselves among those carrying torches and chanting "Jews will not Replace Us'. Or even sooner, when they find out GD WN's are hosting the event. Take a pass. Go to another protest some other time. 'Very Fine' people could certainly want to protest about the statue, but not mingle with WN's to do so.
