I agree there, but, in this political environment, people throw out accusations of racism with no more proof than their personal interpretation of a situation or statement.Take trump for example. I do not believe he is racist. He may judge people on the content of their bank account, but not by the color of their skin. Too many people think that any assessment of uncomfortable facts is racism nowadays, imho.
He claimed that people from Mexico are all rapists and criminals, dude. Among other things...

Please quote him saying "all".

A fair number of them come here with bad intent, the prison population numbers, are ample evidence.
and how many people from the Trump administration or campaign are headed to prison so far? Just sayin. And , what about Trump organizations hiring on undocumented workers? He's been part of the problem for decades. And now, all of the sudden, he's the guy that's going to solve our immigration problems with his stupid, racist, vanity wall?

people actually think Trump is a racist because of a well established historical pattern.
He actually said that he doesn't want black bankers counting his money. Since you used that as an example and all. He also said that being lazy is a trait of African Americans. He would remove them from his casino floors when high rollers arrived. What's interesting is that the same people who claim Trump isn't racist, despite his history, will turn around and claim Obama, or Al Sharpton, or Jesse Jackson, even Oprah, are racist based on what amounts to nothing but a flimsy excuse for doing so. They'll do it because it's consistent with a popular partisan political narrative. Hence, they don't even know they're being racist. It's just something they heard and repeated because it is now considered acceptable.
Well, all the above plus he got his political start with the birther crap. That is flat out racist.

It does make me sad that due to the tribal nature of our politics these days, that some people will only admit racism if literally, someone was hanging from a tree.

yeah. I responded to the second part about about prisons. It's not that complicated. You already knew that Trump didn't say "all" immigrants before you asked. So, I didn't see any need in confirming what we both already know. Again. Trump owns businesses that hired undocumented workers. He's always done that with his businesses. It would also appear that the businesses he owns hid that fact from the Secret Service. I guess they must be the ones he was talking about when he said "and some of them are good people".

Inform "The Man", he made the claim to begin with. I asked him for proof and you felt the need to jump in.
yeah, people "jump in" when you're having discussions on a political chat site. If you want to have a private discussion you're in the wrong place. Not a good place to try to get away with selective cherry picking of what Trump says. It is kinda interesting how quickly you abandoned that tactic when presented with the full unvarnished truth about how Trump has hired undocumented workers for decades. You'd like to talk the talk about immigrants coming here and ending up in our prisons. But, avoid facing the fact that Trump has a hand in that. He's a con artist who used the bigotry and racism to get elected.

Not really... If you feel that you are better than other people for no other reason than the color of your (and their) skin, you are a racist. It's actually that simple :)
No. it's not that simple. If you think bad things about other people because of the color of their skin, you are probably a racist. If you automatically think that other people are RACISTS you might be a racist.
