Wasps also pollinate plants like bees.
Anything that drinks nectar can and will pollinate.

I have a large hibiscus plant in the yard, and the poor thing was so covered with whitefly that I considered cutting it down - whiteflies are very difficult to control.

I did a bit of research and found that hummingbirds eat whiteflies. so I put a couple feeders on the property and voila!

While I can't conclusively prove it was the feeders that attracted the hummingbirds who fed on the whiteflies and so saved the hibiscus plant, I have faith.
