Well it starts. The liberal and atheists want to take away freedom of religion. Next they will try to force pastors to marry gays.

Franklin Graham Urges Georgia Gov. to Stand Against NFL and Sign 'Pastor Protection Act'

Graham, the head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, took to Facebook Wednesday to urge the Republican governor not to cave into the demands of LGBT and corporate communities and decried the notion that this legislation will permit "discrimination."

"LGBT forces and corporate superpowers are using this threat to try to stop the bill that would protect pastors from performing same-sex marriages and give faith-based organizations permission to deny use of their facilities for things outside their religious beliefs," Graham explained. "It does not legalize discrimination as opponents are trying to say, rather it helps contain the growing discrimination against Christians who simply want to live out their faith."

As Deal is set to make a decision on whether he will sign the legislation in the coming weeks. Graham is calling on Christians to pray.

"Let's pray that Gov. Deal will protect the religious freedoms of Georgians," Graham, who is also the president of the humanitarian organization Samaritan's Purse, wrote. "Write him and let him know how you feel about this — stand up against this NFL blitz!"

Religious "rights" have been curtailed since this nation was formed. The US Supreme Court has held for decades that a person is entitled to religious beliefs...but not religious practice in all forms, at every occasion.

In the mid-1800s , the Court ruled against polygamists...who believed it was their religious right to marry as many partners as they wished.

The Court ruled against Quakers who believed that their religion exempted them from paying income tax.

In these and many more "religious liberty" cases the court has routinely ruled that religion belief in not the basis for exemption from obeying the law. The Courts over the years have consistently summarized that if this exemption were allowed, anyone could claim that any law is a violation of their religious beliefs and this would cause chaos.

No people are entitled to their religious beliefs...but not practices in all and every circumstance.

Citizens have the right to believe marriage is a male and female. That's what is being challenged currently. Throughout civilization marriage has been accepted as a female and male. The godless left has gone too far when people are punished for believing what civilized society has accepted since the dawn of civilization. Live and let live. Stop the insanity of punishing people that believe marriage is a male and female.

You are 100% correct. Citizens do have the right to BELIEVE.

...and citizens have the right to do just that. Citizens have the right to put into practice their belief that one man can marry one woman. That right has not been abridged by anyone...anywhere in America.

Today, all throughout America, religious— as well as non-religious— men and women will put ..."one man - one woman" marriage into practice.
