Thus ever to traitors.

Excellent. If they keep eliminating these guys at the going rate, Al Qaeda's leadership, what remains of it, will be too demoralized and afraid of their own shadows to pose any threat to us. And they will be. They may have hordes of suicide bombers who will blow up their own mosques to make a statement, but they're all cowards. Hiding in caves, or in high-security compounds, or whatever. Probably because they're smart enough to know, if God is anything like the one proclaimed by Islam, they're in for a real bad way once we get them.

A Yemeni government official told CNN that an airstrike hit al-Awlaki's motorcade but gave no details about the operation or who conducted it.
Who is good enough to surgically stike in such a manner. Any nation could have done this huh?

The downside to this, of course, is that it shows that the U.S. still actively cooperates with the Yemeni regime to achieve success in the war on terror. Strategically that makes sense. Politically, it really doesn't. And it's a bit of a catch-22, if the U.S. still wants to appear as a sponsor of the various Arab revolutionaries.

Another success in Obama's fight against terroists. Man, Bid Laden, Pirates, and the Al Quaeda leaders falling one by one. His administration has been quite succesful in finding and killing terroists that want to harm the US. It's the united states that have the drones, that's the weapon that is hunting and killing these bastards. Obama may not be the best at everything, but his resolve to hunt down Al Quaeda is working out fine.
