Big towns. Big cities. No one wants them. More trouble than it is worth. Afraid it will get pushback from the anti-Trumpers. Hell, he's known for not paying his bills, maybe they are afraid of getting stiffed....

Maybe it has to do with the MILLIONS the RNC wants from cities to even be considered to host.

My city met in executive session to vote no on bidding. The few conservatives cried foul. These are the same morons that bitch about any expenditure the city suggests.

Paying the RNC 70 Million dollars to host a good idea. Thank God they are a minority or my city would be like Louisiana. Bobby Jindal's great fuck up.

The DNC in Charlotte was expensive. Now, the GOP wants twice as much.

The price for the 2020 Republican National Convention has increased significantly. Bid documents released by the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority show that the Republicans expect the host city to raise between $68 million and $70 million. That’s based on how much was needed for the 2016 RNC in Cleveland.
