Most Trump supporters are fully aware there are NeverTrumpers, and some are Republicans.

So, it doesn't surprise me, but Trump is smarter than they are and will reach a deal.

Btw, some Republicans don't want the wall and some of them want open borders. They are stupid, but
nobody ever said all Republicans were smart.
Finally real news.
That's your group Sparky and it has to be the truest thing you have ever said.

Huh? Why would Americans even want to buy corn from non-Americans?.
It's not about the specific product, it's the theory that by adding a set cost to an item crossing the border, that cost will be a tax upon the consumers of the importing country.

The U.S. and Mexico failed to reach an agreement to avert sweeping tariffs during a Wednesday meeting between top officials from both countries, according to media reports.

The talks at the White House came just days before the Trump administration is set to impose 5 percent tariffs on all Mexican imports, part of an effort to get Mexico to stem the flow of migrants reaching the U.S.The Trump administration has said the tariffs, which are scheduled to take effect Monday, could increase to 25 percent by October if Mexico does not take more steps to curb illegal migration

The question now is whether the administration will go ahead with the tariffs as planned or engage in further negotiations with Mexican officials

US, Mexico fail to reach deal on tariffs: reports

Your move now Trump party.

Yes, if Mexico retaliates for Trump's tariffs on Mexican products by imposing counter-vailing tariffs on American products, that will make those American products more expensive for Mexican consumers. By doing that, by the way, it will lower the demand for those products by Mexican consumers, thereby hurting the American firms that produce them.

One could hardly hope for a better illustration that such trade wars are profoundly negative-sum, lose-lose games, where BOTH countries end up getting badly hurt.

So why the FUCK are we doing it?

Hey remember when you where a Never-Trumper? It didn't take long for you to flip flop and fall in love with Trump. But in reality all you did was degrade yourself.

That's all fine and dandy but he is an open border supporter and was in congress this year.

Because he switched jobs doesn't change the fact of what he supported while in congress.

Gary Johnson also supports open borders although he is not in congress it shows how many of them are actually out there.

An easier way to solve this is when would you say no more can enter the country illegally?

When will you put up a wall to say enough is enough?

Answer that for me or show that you support open borders also.
